Here are some questions and answer's you may have concerning what we do!

 

Q: - Where do your courses take place?

A: - We conduct our courses take place in the Brecon Beacons, near the village of Talybont on Usk; the specific areas are Blaen Y Glynn, Talybont forest.

 

Q: - What clothing should I wear?

A: - The requirements of each course are different to the next and we will send out a specific kit list for each course. But for general on what to bring, please have a look at our kit list here

Q: - Do I need any special equipment?

A: - Should any specialised equipment be needed, Out Here will provide it.

 

Q: - What should I bring with me?

A: - Other than what is on the kit list, you only need to bring yourself and a sense of humour!!

 

Q: - How long does the course last?

A: - This is course dependant; it could be between one day and four days, sleeping out for three.

 

Q: - When do your courses run?

A: - We run our courses all year round, weather permitting, but we go by the "no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing” way of thinking! So not much will put us off, after all we're not made of sugar, getting wet won't harm us! Of course if there is any possibility that the weather could be hazardous then we will take appropriate actions.

 

Q: - Are there any restrictions to who can be on your courses?

A: - Not really, a basic level of fitness is required for obvious reasons, but we are adaptable to your needs. All are welcome but please being aware that there are no female members of our staff.
